Michael Shafer, PhD
Executive Director, G6 Allies
We’ve been in ministry leadership for over 15 years, serving in the local church (both, big and small), academics, and para-church ministries. Our practical experience has been paired with intense academic training. Michael completed a PhD from one of the top-ranked theology programs in the world at Durham University in the United Kingdom.
In addition to full-time ministry roles, we are both certified coaches and have been helping other ministry leaders for over 5 years. Our hearts beat for pastoral families. We want to spend ourselves on caring for leaders in the church!

We are deeply passionate to see the local church reach the unchurched, de-churched, and those in-between, with the life-giving truth of the Gospel. We desire to see people come to a knowledge of Christ and grow deeper in love with Him daily in a healthy, authentic environment.
Over the past 13 years, we have pursued this calling and find no greater joy than seeing God’s calling on our lives come fulfilled. We are thankful that God’s Word is timeless, relevant, beyond limitation, and always working in the hearts of His people.
